ABOUT US
We're located in the heart of Finnieston in Glasgow but serve nationwide. Our expertly networked scheduling allows us to mobilise our staff to you even at short notice.
Our Story
Amvale was founded in 1986 by our CEO Mike Godfrey in Scunthorpe. After initially specialising in the motor trade, Mike soon recognised inefficiencies in the local council's approach to transport for children with additional support needs and soon became a contracted supplier. Amvale has always strived for safe service delivery and has been awarded Britain's Safest Fleet and Business of Excellence awards for our work in Lincolnshire.
In 1998 Amvale Medical Transport was formed supplying patient transport and emergency blood transport on behalf of the NHS. After over 20 successful years of working alongside various NHS trusts and the private sector, Amvale opened our Scottish base in 2019.

Our Glasgow-based team have vast experience in safe event delivery at major contracts including at the SEC/SSE Hydro, Hampden Park, TRNSMT Festival, Coloursfest and Glasgow Warriors. We have also been contracted by NHS Scotland.
Our Values
Amvale Scotland believe in an ethical approach in the best interests of our service users and clients in all that we do.
We have created our Patients' Charter to protect the rights of every patient and to align ourselves with the aims and values of the National Health Service.
Amvale is committed to the highest standards of patient care and service delivery and with our experienced and dedicated management both customers and patients can be assured that they will receive a consistently reliable service.
Our parent company, Amvale Medical Transport, is CQC registered and we operate to the same standards and policies in Scotland.
